A lot of what passed for search engine optimization a couple of years ago was just scamming search engines into giving out high ranks. Now it’s much more about creating quality, provocative, engaging content. Yes, a lot of blogs are still over exposed ego trips, but there is also an incredible amount of deep, thoughtful commentary, useful advice, helpful tutorials and just good information out there. And I think Google is chiefly the reason why. By constantly evolving their search criteria and endlessly catching the scammers and tricksters, they have forced a raised bar mentality. Good content is being rewarded with high rankings. And we’re all a little better for it. I can’t believe I’m praising the behemoth Google has become, but so far they’ve been pretty good citizens. As far as I know… Anyway HubSpot has a nice little article about SEO I thought you might like. How important is SEO to you?
SEO is Evolving Fast: Is Your Website?
Just a few months ago, Mike Volpe blogged about Page Rank becoming irrelevant. …
Apple’s iPhone is selling like hotcakes. The device is hugely popular and it is only picking up steam.
The company sold 8.75 million iPhones in the quarter for 131% growth year-over-year!
What does this say to me? iPhone Apps are HUGELY valuable. Your company will benefit if it can create an app people want to carry around with them (and the bar is not very high as there is no real limit to the amount of apps one can put on their iPhone).
How does one go about getting an App made? Send me an email, email@example.com, and we can discuss. Hope to hear from you.
