iPhone Apps: VALUABLE
Apple’s iPhone is selling like hotcakes. The device is hugely popular and it is only picking up steam.
The company sold 8.75 million iPhones in the quarter for 131% growth year-over-year!
What does this say to me? iPhone Apps are HUGELY valuable. Your company will benefit if it can create an app people want to carry around with them (and the bar is not very high as there is no real limit to the amount of apps one can put on their iPhone).
How does one go about getting an App made? Send me an email, alec@fullvoicemedia.com, and we can discuss. Hope to hear from you.
How Google Search Works, Briefly
cccccccccccccccccccccccHow does Google decide a websites ranking? Well there’s a little video they made to help explain it. It’s not very deep, but you do get the idea that quality links to a site are more important than links out or keywords, and quality is measured by how in depth and targeted the whole set of pages are on any given site. There are also little videos on how Google ads and apps work. It’s worth a few minutes.
The Apple iPad. Just a bigger iPhone.
The iPhone is amazing. It may be the greatest mobile device since the first cell phone. It has changed the way people get and use information. It made the internet browsing experience enjoyable on a phone (something that RIM’s Blackberry and Nokia’s smartphones have not been able to do).
I can type “deli” into the iPhone’s google maps, see only the results right around me using the device’s GPS, and click twice to have that same device start calling the place. And yes, if you don’t already know there is really is an “app” for just about every single “that” you can imagine. I can’t say enough good things about the iPhone…

Today Apple announced the highly anticipated tablet PC they are calling the “iPad.” I’m disappointed.
Tools to Use on your Real Estate Website
The days in which a static website was acceptable have long passed.
.
This is not because we have become needy internet consumers who need moving images, crazy page transitions, pop-up effects and glowing rollovers (though in moderation all these elements can be quite appealing), no its because there is just so much more a website can do.
.
It no longer has to be a glorified business card, your website can be a robust tool of interactivity featuring a wide range of useful functionality. The company 1000watt consulting put together a great list of tools to use on your website. This is a company which focuses on servicing top tier brokerages, media companies and dot coms so while many of these are of particular use to that crowd, most sites and marketing campaigns could benefit from integrating some or all of these tools. The list is after the break. Enjoy. (more…)
